The Iconic New York City Park Bench!
The Stewart Iron Works Park Bench has graced municipal parks, county court houses, state capitols, city streets and residential lawns since the 1930s! Our park bench was chosen by Frederick Law Olmstead, then Superintendent of New York Central Park, for inclusion of his urban-life design of New York's famed park. Olmstead is popularly considered to be the father of American Landscape Architecture.
Our bench can be ordered in 4', 5', 6' and 8' lengths, with the legs pre-drilled for mounting to a hard surface.
The bench can be ordered with a 5" round bronze plaque commemorating a loved one, an organization, a city, etc.
The plaque can also be ordered in a 3-1/2" h. x 9" w. dimension.
The New York City Park Bench can be ordered "Backless" in 4', 5' and 6' lengths.
